Hello all!

My fiancée and I are getting married this year (both foreigners) and we have been having quite some weird interactions with the wedding planner/coordinator and just wanted to see if this is a normal experience?

1. Not great communication: maybe we are asking too many questions or something, but I feel like we don't really get an answer to anything and it just leaves us confused. All the questions we ask are very easy, basic questions, like about included decorations and colour of flowers, etc. We are just left confused because we can't get any concrete answers for anything really, and because of that we aren't sure what we need to provide ourselves on the day of the wedding.
2. We have email confirmation that the venue is booked, but there is no contract in place. I realize now that this is probably a red flag...? We have some people coming from outside of Sweden, and although it is probably a small chance, the fact that they could possibly just cancel the wedding gives me a little anxiety lol.

For people who have planned a wedding here, please let me know!

EDIT: the person in question is not a "wedding planner" as in we hired them, they work for the venue. So we are not, like, paying for them or anything. Just to clarify.
