🕯️Pittsburgh Ride of Silence is next week - Weds. May 20

Ride with us to remember the bicyclists we’ve lost

Event Details

Pittsburgh Ride of Silence is next Wednesday, May 20, 2026 - Bicyclists, friends, and family will gather for a ceremony and ride, observing silence and talking only as necessary.

Please bring your own DIY signs and posters.

We’ll ride ~10 miles from Highland Park to Homewood and back on a route highlighting both good biking infrastructure and areas that would benefit from safety improvements. We'll pay homage to the memorials of Will Theisen and Courtney Carter who were both killed by drivers while biking in their neighborhoods. We will also be joined by youth and community members in Homewood.

Date: Wednesday, May 20, 2026 (Rain or Shine. Lightning will cancel)
Time: 7:00PM
Start + End Location: Highland Park Fountain (Reservoir Dr & Highland Ave)
