I’ve had these for like 6-7 months and somehow the left lens got all scratched up like this. It started as a small scratch then all of a sudden got out of control. Only happened to the left side. I’ve been wearing glasses most of my life & have never seen anything like this. I obviously need new ones but now I’m cautious abt what to get…
I’ve been using transition lenses in grey for a few years now & love them, didn’t have any problems with my other 2 pair. This time I got Xtractive in brown & I’m wondering if Xractive/the color is more sensitive? I clean them the same way I’ve always cleaned my glasses: gently wash by hand with soap & water when they’re really grubby, and the lens solution spray + lens cloth for daily maintenance.
Wondering if this was just a fluke & I should try brown Xtractive again (I prefer tortoise brown frames & love how the brown on brown looks) or if I should just stick to what has worked for me with no problems (gray regular transitions)
