24 no debt paid off Mobile home and paid off vehicles absolutely no expenses besides the basic utilities and such. should I do it after a year or 2 ?

Got my cdl 2-3 months ago I’m enjoying it so far. But being a company driver and getting paid chump change while having to share trucks with unclean people has kinda changed my perspective on being a company driver. My friends are owner op and make a decent living and seem to always be able to go on vacations, they’re not making as much money as they could but they’re living comfortable and living the life I want so I’m interested. I’m currently sitting at about 50k in the bank and I’m considering going after my own truck once I get some more experience and find out what type of hauling I enjoy doing. I figure in another year or so I’ll hopefully have about 70k put away which will put me at 50k for a truck and 20k for emergency/repairs. I know I could make a good living at certain companies but I like the idea of having a little more control of my schedule. Am I going down a good path here or should I just keep saving for something else

How do I save this peach tree?

Tree belonged to my wife’s grandma who’s since passed and I don’t think anyone has taken care of it since. I just moved in and we have this peach tree in the front yard. The parts that are green are growing peaches but as you can see probably 75% of the tree is in rough shape. I thought it would be cool to see it healthier so I wanna try to save it. What can I do? I know nothing about plants so my knowledge goes as far as put mulch on it and hope for the best

I bought a 1980s single wide it’s in ok shape but needs some love. Previous owner was just painting the roof with what I presume to be sealant or something every year an just fixing leaks as time went on. I see several areas inside the house with water stains. One spot even being mushy so it’s clear there’s several spots that need fixed. I’ve kinda just been learning as I go with repairs. As far as the roof goes I was just gonna put on a metal roof. Would it be advisable to just screw some 2x6/2x4s go the rafters on top of the existing roof and putting some metal roofing panels down on that or is there more to the project. Im just going by videos I’ve seen and that seems to be the general trend

Im a truck driver and I recently got Starlink for my home and saw it came with the free mini router. But for some reason my mind processed it as portable wifi I didn’t need a dish for. Guess I’ll have to buy a separate dish thing I play a lot of games and watch a lot of Netflix. Should I get the mini or standard dish?

I have a sp5k I want a stock or brace the only reason I’m leaning more towards the brace is because I try to keep Uncle Sam out of my life as much as possible lol I also don’t like the idea of having to have some potential clown bring his engraving tools near a 3000$ item. Can someone give advice on if it’s worth? Any info would greatly help me out.

I’ve got a 22 1500 i bought new here lately the crap wax coating they put on has just been peeling off in chip size chunks revealing sickening rust spots. Nothing terrible/serious yet but enough to make an otherwise nice vehicle look like crap. I found a shop who does wool wax which I’ve heard is a pretty nice product and doesn’t harden which I like. But they don’t have the facilities to remove the existing undercoating. Anyone have experience with if it’ll stop the rust from advancing ? Ideally I’d like the wax to be removed but that doesn’t seem to be an option. I’d hate to put makeup on a pig and it feels like that’s what I’d be doing by having them spray over the wax. I plan on keeping the vehicle as long as possible, I’ve also heard wool wax can cause the gm wax to deteriorate so I’m hoping after a few years of consistent resprays it’ll just all fall off on its own

I’ve got a 2022 I got new and had the crap gm undercoating put on when I got it. I didn’t know they used the crap that’s like wax when I told them to do it BUT, It’s been peeling off here recently and revealing big portions of surface rust. I knew it was time to reundercoat it with a fluid film/wool wax product I even was able to peel a huge chunk off which depressed me seeing my frame all nasty looking. my question is. Those who get their trucks undercoated do you happen to know if undercoating shops remove the old product before they respray ? I’m gonna call tomorrow and ask a bunch of different places their process but I figured I’d start here for now since they’re closed just to see what the process is like
