Laptop 'D' key doesn't work alone, but types "sd" when pressed with 'S'. Any fix?

Hi everyone,My laptop's 'D' key has stopped working completely when pressed by itself. However, if I press 'S' and 'D' together, it successfully types out "sd".

Is this a hardware/keyboard matrix issue, or a weird software glitch?

Liquid metal or phase-change thermal pads on a gaming laptop? Worth the risk?

My gaming laptop runs incredibly hot during heavy sessions. I'm seriously considering repasting with liquid metal or a phase-change thermal pad.

Has anyone here actually tried this? Did it drop temps enough to justify the risk of bricking it?
