Load dose yesterday and really sick now

I took my first load dose yesterday of 160mg, eight hours later I had a temp of 102.7, diarrhea, and throwing up. It lasted all night and I’m still down and out.

Anyone else experience anything like this when they started?

Saved the dog from the pound and the Kitten from the Michigan winter.

We got the dog when he was about 5-6 months old and was heading to the pound if We didn’t take him, he’s the best dog I’ve ever owned. We found the kitten under our car in November and it was about 5 weeks old and the temp was 10 degrees. They have quickly become best friends and rarely leave each other’s side. It’s a beautiful relationship.

What do you all think?

Saved this boy from going to the pound but don’t really have an idea as to what he is. What do you guys think?

It’s been suggested he is a Texas Heeler. But again I don’t know.

I’m set to start Humira, my script is in. This is the first meds I’ve ever taken for crohns. I have a couple questions.

Should I wait to start over the weekend in case I have some side effects? What are the most common side effects you guys have experienced? What’s the best methods for giving yourself the shot?

Out of curiosity what’s the dosage you are on and how often do you need the shot?

I’m a little nervous but I’m excited to get feeling better.

****Ill actually be on Simlandi not Humira

I’ve recently been diagnosed with crohns and am not on medication yet.

Is it normal to have rough mornings almost every morning, cramps, aches, multiple runs to the bath? Like 95% of my mornings are like this. Often the symptoms will subside through the day but there’s day that it hasn’t at all. I feel like I’ve been in a flare up for 10 years straight and I know that sounds like an exaggeration but it’s really not.

Anyone else deal with this? Anything anyone has found that helps, even a little?

I’m hopefully starting Humira soon. What are people’s experiences with Humira?

I’m just getting back into fishing. I got a Pflueger presidential 30. I’m looking for the best all around line for it. I’d prefer to not go the braided route. I was thinking seaguer invizx or abrazx. What’s your thoughts or other suggestions for my set up? I fish rivers, lakes, ponds. Catch bass, walleye, catfish, ect.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with crohns. After blood work and tests it seems it’s in my intestines, stomach and anus. I have fissures and fistula’s. New Year’s Eve ended up at the hospital because of an infection. I didn’t know at the time it was because of one of them getting infected, but now it’s clear that’s what happened. I had a colonoscopy and I guess they could see my muscle from the inside. I have a small bowel follow through next week and if that goes well I’ll be on humira. My inflammatory markers are through the roof. My stool sample was 327 and normal range is below 50. I had a couple others that I don’t remember the name of but was supposed to be under 10 and were well over 100. What can I expect? My father ended up with a colostomy bag at age 24. Anyone have any advice? Has humira worked? My dad is on infusions now. I don’t know what route I should take.
