Does anyone have recommendations for a nice spot for afternoon tea in the Hastings area? I want to do this for my Nan’s birthday, so I’d like it to be somewhere special.

My little brother is starting Freshman year for summer B, and I’m trying to help him with on campus housing. He’s already submitted his housing application, and I understand he’ll have the option to select the room type within the next couple weeks. At what point does he have to sign the housing agreement? Before or after selecting the room type? We do not want to commit to on campus housing in case he ends up with a crappy dorm. Could someone please help clarify this?

Another question: he starts in summer B, but has friends starting in the fall. Will he be able to create a group so he can room with friends for fall? I read somewhere that he will not be able to request friends because they have different start dates. This makes no sense to me because he will be in different dorms for each session.
