Complicated ( to me ). Is a lawyer the right move now?

I was an accident, 100% the other driver's fault. Driver has California minimum for property damage and injury. I do not have collision. So I'm getting something like 14k from her insurance company, zero from mine, and a replacement car is about 25k all in. So there goes 11 grand. But that's on me for not having collision.

The injury stuff is what's really bothering me. I have no idea what's going to happen. So I have Kaiser which right now is covering everything except for some small deductibles. I've got pretty bad post-concussion symptoms, work is difficult, also I seem to have aggravated or red damaged my mid spine which had surgery 22 years ago. I'm getting the same symptoms of weakness and neurological deficit. I can't really carry anything I can't walk very far. It also hurts. I can't rotate. Anyway I'm just saying that it's not good and Kaiser is doing their best to scare me but at least for now things are pretty bad.

I do have un/underinsured motorist insurance that covers injury with pretty good limits. I have to get that up pretty high because I volunteer with a school district and drive kids around. I think I'm going to fairly assume that whatever settlement I get is going to be above what the California state minimum is and so my underinsured policy is going to have to kick into make up the difference.

There's also some loss of revenue from my work. I just work for myself but I haven't been able to do very much and sales are down because I am not getting back to people on a timely basis. I'm really hoping that as a concussion symptoms get better that I'll be able to get back on track but there are some quantifiable damages there I think.

So my question is, is it lawyer time? I'm keeping notes on everything and I haven't signed anything and I haven't talked to the insurance rep who wants to interview me about physical damage. I just don't see any point to that right now since I'm still going through it and some things are getting better and some things are getting worse. So just in terms of insurance coverage both for the person who hit me and for mine since it's underinsured, it just seems really complicated to me with the fact that Kaiser is providing the service and I know there are some costs there I just don't know what they are. And also the revenue dropped for my business is hard to figure out in terms of what that means as part of a payout and if that comes out of what basket of money I just don't know.

So yeah sorry long story I apologize for that but is it time for a lawyer?

Is it OK to post stash here for IDing?

I bought a bunch of Toy Story stuff from 1998 through 2001 NIB off eBay and just dragged it around with me, 95% unopened. It's taking up a lot of space in my basement that I need to convert to an apartment. Is it OK to post stuff here to ID it?

So this happened by accident yesterday. I came home at around 8:45pm and promptly fell asleep. I normally don't go to bed before 11:30. I woke up super early, like 4:00, fully rested and ready to go.

I went downstairs and did the dishes and started the machine. I started and finished 2 loads of laundry. I cooked a bunch of chicken for the week and made some rice. I cleaned out the fridge. I had time still, so I went outside and watered all the plants, veggies, and trees. I made breakfast for the kids. I responded to all hanging work emails.

There was NO rush or panic getting the kids ready for school. This was the most relaxing and productive morning I've had in YEARS!!!

So my question is...does anyone do this as a regular habit? Go to sleep very early, then wake up early and get a bunch of stuff done (without interruption)? I usually am too tired at night to do anything but also don't go to sleep. This seems strange but far more efficient and satisfying. So just checking if this works for anyone.
