Just wanted to share a quick update and say thanks to the person here who suggested Samanar Hills!

I did a round trip this past Sunday, clocked in exactly 36.37 km. The ride was awesome, and the view from the top of the hill was totally worth the climb.

I'm planning to make these solo-trips a regular thing. If you have more suggestions for spots within a 20-40km radius (starting from the Thiruppalai side), let me know!
