Writers: share a bit of the fanfic you're working on!
Here's a part of one that I'm writing
"On the first day of uni, Seungmin nervously adjusted the folds of his overskirt, standing proudly in the mirror, making a cute pose. Fuck, maybe he was too much. He bit his lip as he slipped on his sneakers, grimacing at how big they were.
Sure, he liked them all right, but the problem was obvious: it was way too much for a boy to wear. He’d seen those k-dramas, and the popular guys all wore skinny jeans and t-shirts, looking effortlessly beautiful with a raw face, unlike Seungmin’s own with pink lip gloss and shiny highlighter.
People always called him trans, and he would nervously shake his head and withdraw from the conversation. Seungmin identified as a he/him, and he was proud of his girlish personality.
His hair was streaked with pastel pink: Felix’s idea. The boy was just like him, but Seungmin lacked his confidence. Felix would literally strut on the street with a lolita dress, unlike Seungmin, who was embarrassed to wear a tiny skirt over baggy jeans.
Speaking of the little rascal, Felix had sneaked up behind him and had taken a selfie of them, giggling in his sailor skirt, “Awww Minnie, you look so cute!” he squealed, adjusting the barrettes that clipped back his platinum blond hair.
Seungmin smiled crookedly, “Hmmm, but you’re always so confident! Last time some girl called you a transgender witch and I was literally about to punch her!”
“Seungmin-ah! Who cares what they say? Are you doing this for yourself, or them?” sighed Felix, pouting dramatically.
He only shrugged, jealous of how sure his roommate was about his identity. Maybe, maybe he would try. He would try to be different."
