I have a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with the forbidden milk shake. Oil mixing with coolant. Below I’ll attach a photo of my coolant and another of the oil. Dealership states it’s the head gaskets. I know it’s common in older models but wanted to see what else could potentially be the issue. I know I’ve seen other possibilities other than head gaskets causing the mixing of coolant and oil. Just curious to hear other options and things to look at before diving in.

I have the intake and wiring harness pretty much out of the way ready to pull the engine.
