Do you have a movie that you found very weird? Not creepy or shocking, just uncomfortable.

I have one called 'The skin I live in'. Yo movie herda esto nai uncomfortable lageko malai. I remember watching with my friends and we all were looking at each other with weird expressions. I don't want to spoil but it's a 2011 psychological thriller based around the theme of revenge. Tyo cinematography, story, acting sabai nai ali weird vibes dirathyo.

I watched it only once. Don't think I can do a rewatch. Do you have any movie/s that gave you similar vibes?

Women who own a small business in Nepal- what are some issues that you are facing?

I was talking to a friend who owns a small business in Nepal. It's a service-oriented business, which is even more complicated in the Nepali market. Keeping the legalities aside, she mentioned struggling with social media exposure in the brand awareness phase. Meaning her content isn't reaching the right audience on social media. Experiment gardai jada she realized ki usko content TikTok ma chaldo raicha badhi. Pachi ani different in-person events ra programs ma jadai networking garera help bhayecha. Sayad yo experiment phase nai ali frustrating hune raicha because you don't know what exactly works.

If you own a small business or know someone who runs one, share the issues you face in Nepal.

What are some mistakes that recent graduates make during job application?

I have heard hiring managers complaining that recent graduates send their CVs with formatting mistakes such as grammatical errors. Some candidates even write their full date of birth, place of birth and personal details that are not necessary during hiring.

What other mistakes have you observed among recent graduates that lessens their chances of getting selected?

What kind of career support are students looking from their college/University?

Career fairs are becoming increasingly popular in colleges and universities in Nepal. Kathmandu University School of Management's Placement Cell reports that 86 graduates have been placed in jobs or internships through its annual career fair. Similarly, Deerwalk Institute organizes its annual IT fair to help students with job placements. Although career fairs do not guarantee jobs to graduates, they provide students with exposure to hiring managers across different industries.

Apart from the career fair, what other support are students looking for from their college/University?

If you have to recall some of your interesting interviews, which one would it be? What made the candidate stand out from others? Was it more about matching vibes or fulfilling the requirements?

It's quite common for interviewers to ask candidates if they have any question towards the end. Whenever I have a job interview with the hiring manager, I ask the next three month's expectations. This has helped me understand the timeline of onboarding and if they want me to figure out everything by myself.

I want to know what questions have you asked as a candidate.

Although candidates prepare very well for a job interview, it's very common and natural to feel anxious. As a result, we might fumble or give a long pause or ask embarrassing questions. Did you experience such moments? How did you handle the feeling afterwards?

I think it's very common to exaggeratethe job description only to attract a lot of candidates. In reality, the job requires a different skill set and sometimes even different responsibilities.

Not a specific one, but I have seen a lot of posts that hire interns with years of experience. Internships are made for students or recent graduates to learn and get used to the corporate culture. It's crazy to even put that Internships require experience of more than a year.
