so much rebellion that you cant do anything about in the early game its silly

you take one city that the AI already was mismanaging and the public order is trash and because it takes 8 turns to build anything they rebel and have slave revolts before anything can be done. I just conquer a place an spend the next 10 turns genociding their rebel spam its boring what the hell am i doing wrong or does this mod lowkey suck?

Some people might think this is petty and not necessary but I think flavor and narrative adds so much to grand strategy and the drama of human history it's representing.

At launch and in the first few DLC the flavor text and events were so generic and boring you would never read it, now they are quite beautiful and interesting and worth reading. It's not just the Great Wave either I felt that National Awakening and the other more recent DLC had better flavor writing, but GW definitely is the best so far.

They took it to the standard of TNO by using more literary and narrative prose, with the action already underway and the emphasis on perspectives and experiences of the characters. I enjoy reading them now

Just wanna give my thanks to the writers whose work typically goes under the radar, trust me I notice and appreciate it.

Love the addition of national cast so we can keep track of characters too. If we could get subjective perspective text that describes their feelings and perspectives in more detail and with more narrative drama I think the game could reach another level.

The big mechanical patches that do well have open betas. When there was no beta announced for this major patch I knew it would be super buggy at launch. It never goes well when they make all these changes without a beta. Guarantee eu5's fall of the phoenix will be buggy too with no beta

The question is why don't the devs know this?
