Just wanted to share a positive KOHO support experience for once

I just wanted to share a positive KOHO experience since you usually only see people posting when things go wrong. Had my account locked, and when it got reopened it was a bit broken. I couldn’t sign up for any plans or get my interest rate sorted. It is worth mentioning I could still access my money the whole time, it was just the extra features that were down. Took a few days of their support team working on it in the background, which wasn’t ideal, but they stuck with it and got everything fully resolved. Not the fastest process, but they didn’t drop the ball and I really appreciate that. Anyway, just wanted to throw a positive one out there for once ◡̈

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience because I’m honestly devastated.
Years ago my KOHO account was locked due to fraud. I was the victim, not the one who did anything wrong. When I tried to come back to KOHO recently I created a new account not realizing that wasn’t allowed.
When I found out, I immediately contacted support and was completely upfront about the whole situation. I explained the fraud history, that I had created a second account, and asked them to help me sort it out properly. I was nothing but polite and transparent throughout the entire conversation.
They locked my new account while they “looked into it,” which cancelled my Interac autodeposit, and then this morning I got an email saying my account has been permanently closed with no explanation given “for security reasons.”
I did everything right. I was honest. And I got punished for it.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any recourse? I really loved KOHO and just wanted to come back as a customer.
