I've been handspinning for roughly a year now, and I'm starting to feel more confident, which leads me to starting to try new things! But I'd love advice on my current idea. I have the beautiful sky blue wool on the right, and an equally gorgeous dark blue/purple remnant. What I would love to do is to kind of add in touches of the dark blue while spinning the main blue. Is that a good idea? Or am I asking for trouble?

I'm going to a festival for a long weekend and want to make sure I've got plenty to keep my hands occupied! Much appreciated!

It's exactly as weird/goofy as it sounds. I love to spin fiber into yarn, and I'd love to bring my drop spindle and fiber to spin while I listen to bands. Do you think security would allow it? This is my third year and it seems like how strict they are really depends on the guard you go by each day. Picture is the spindle in question, thank you!
