Atelier Playa Mujeres

Thinking about booking this hotel in November for 6 nights. Originally planned to book through Costco Travels but since discovering this sub, I’m wondering if there’s any reason to go through a TA instead? Have never used a TA before so I’m unsure if it’s any benefit to doing so or if it’s more for people unsure of where they want to stay?

Thanks in advance :)

Secrets Maroma Beach/other suggestions with 300k points

Looking to book a week long trip before the changes next month, for around Thanksgiving week. We have about 300k points that we want to spend.

We’re a couple that have been doing a lot of trips to Europe and Hawaii in recent years so looking to do something different this time. We were considering Maldives but it felt too far away (flying from Southern California) for just a weeklong trip.

We’ve kind of landed on trying an AI for the first time and we’re liking Secrets Maroma Beach so far. Impressions Moxche was ideally our first choice but there’s no availability for the dates we want to go.

Just wondering if anyone has opinions on Secrets Maroma Beach? What did you like vs not like? Does anyone have any other suggestions on where to go for 300k points?

Thank you in advance!

Atelier vs Secrets Maroma

We’re planning a 7 night stay during Thanksgiving, and my husband and I have narrowed it down to these two hotels. We’re leaning towards Atelier, but would love to hear opinions on both hotels.

A few things to know:

- His first time at an AI, my third time

- We’re both in our early 30’s, prefer calm vibes over party

- We’re definitely “foodies” but with that said, not super picky but we’re definitely willing to pay more for better food

- Atelier is only a few $100 more total for the days we’re looking at (not planning to do INSPIRA)

- I have globalist status with Hyatt, so if we stay at Secrets it’s very likely we’ll get free upgrade to preferred rooms

My take so far is that Atelier seem to be more our vibe, the food also seem to be better but I’m thinking we’ll get better views at Secrets becuase of my status and I do think it looks like they have more things happening at Secrets (coconut cart, mixology classes etc) than Atelier does. I guess I’m worried we’ll be bored at Atelier?

I’m also wondering if there’s any options to upgrade to INSPIRA once we’re at the hotel if available. INSPIRA is currently over $3k more for the dates we’re looking at and doesn’t seem worth it to me based on what it includes.

“Further consignee information needed”

I was tracking my package which was out for delivery but seems like my DHL delivery person could not find my address (not sure why because I’ve never had issues before) and now it says Further consignee information needed and that I need to correct my address.

I called the DHL customer service immediately to change to pick up at a service center which was confirmed to me over the phone but the tracking still says “Further consignee information needed” so I’m not sure what to do.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, did you eventually get your package? I’m very stressed as this is an item that can’t be replaced if it gets lost.
