Hi!

I recently picked up a pair of KNIPEX Snipe Nose Side Cutting Pliers and noticed a crack after just a few uses. I can feel it with my nail. I'm attaching photos and hoping someone here can help me figure out whether this is a counterfeit product or a manufacturing defect.

UPD: After sanding the area, it turned out to be just small corrosion.
