Memory Steer
Hi all, i just got my 07 350 SRW back from getting studded and other work. A part of the work was to fix memory steering issues that i have been fighting for months… Long story short ALL components in steering and suspension have been replaced along with 2 redhed gear boxes.. truck has brand new tires less than 800 miles on them holds alignment but likes to favor left and when i bring it back to correct, it then wanders in the lane.. at highway speeds it almost feels like front end is light with an empty bed. It has dual stabalizers and i upgraded the worn factory one to a bilstien.. shop loosened and re-torqued entire front end pulled axles double checked by new u joints drove with and without stabilizers on it (no real difference) … owner is at a loss he put 2 redhed in it, he was hesitant to do a third… told me to drive 500 miles and see if things may need to settle… if anyone has had this issue before any insight is greatly appreciated
