I have tinnitus and generally go to sleep every night with white noise to mask it. How acceptable is playing it out my phone speaker at night in a shared room? Or is it a no?

I plan on travelling to Thailand from the uk in 6 weeks. I’m aware I can go there, visa exempt, for 30 days. For proof of outward travel I will book a coach to Vietnam which I may or may not take. If I decide to stay in Thailand, is it still possible to extend the visa by another 30 days? And if I go to Vietnam and re enter Thailand a week later, will my 30 days be reset?
