Bobby's final press conference, following the loss to the Giants in the 2010 NLDS.

I remember how distraught I felt watching this in real time, and I feel again now, 16 years later. I wanted so badly for Bobby to go out a World Series winner in his last ride. It felt like destiny, considering all the miracles we witnessed as the team persevered throughout a season they honestly had no business seeing through to the postseason.

It's been a tough week here in Braves Country. We'll miss you, Skip.
