I ask because I've recently heard from a third Black British person about receiving comments while in US, from Black Americans, that they considered racist. In all cases it involved Black British men whose partners aren't Black, and the comments came from Black American women criticising their having said non-Black partners.

Is this just a coincidence that I've heard of such incidents, or is this actually quite a common thing? I'm very curious to hear if anyone has been in similar situations?
