Computer won't boot into Windows after sudden shutoff.

On Saturday - in the midst of gameplay - my foot accidentally tapped the power strip that my gaming computer was plugged into, and it shut off just like that. Since then, whenever I try to boot it back up, the manufacturer logo will appear for a second before cutting to a blinking command line-ish cursor on the upper left for a split-second, then the screen goes blank. From what I've read, this could be the black screen of death. I am able to access the system BIOS, and from there I do know that my system does detect my hard drive. I tried to adjust the boot order so that the hard drive is in the #1 spot (for the record, that spot is assigned to the CD/DVD drive by default despite my system having no such thing) and disabling fast boot, but it didn't work. Then I grabbed a USB drive I had lying around and put Media Creation Tools on there via my laptop in the hopes of repairing it that way. Startup Repair failed, and using System Restore to load a state from four days earlier didn't make a lick of difference. When I started the system again hoping to utilize one of the other options, I got hit with a message which read as follows:

"Over Current Have Been Detected On Your USB Devicel!

System will shutdown after 15 seconds to protect your mainboard!!"

I'm not sure if the USB is gonna be safe to use after a cooldown period or what.

I've scheduled an appointment to have a professional try and fix the computer for me, but they won't arrive until a week from now because they're booked. I can wait if I must, but if anyone knows of a more DIY solution I'd like to hear it.
