Rear ended by a cop

I was rear ended by a police officer a few days ago probably around 25mph. I have a rear dash cam and it shows he made no attempts to brake. Impact felt pretty big and I’m not sure how much damage my car has behind the bumper yet. I’ve contacted my insurance but have yet to complete the insurance claim as I’m still waiting for the police report, which contains information of the police officer and accident. It takes up to 10 days for the department to process reports. I’m going to the doc next week to get checked out as I do have a stiff neck and some back pain when turning a certain way. This is my first time involved in something like this, but should I find a lawyer or try to resolve through insurance?

Rear ended at a stand still.. by a cop

Got rear ended while sitting in traffic by a cop. He was going full speed at roughly 25-30mph without slowing down. The impact felt pretty big. The rear bumper took all of the damage from his crash bar and doesn’t look too bad but wondering if anything behind would be damaged. Anyone with a similar accident have any estimated repair costs for this? Car still drives and works fine otherwise.

This will be my first attempt at wrapping. I have a splitter that I plan to wrap the leading edge. Once installed, the top portion is hidden. So theoretically, this should be a super simple job.

I bought some 5’x1’ wrap but realized the splitter is more like 6’ or so. Do ppl usually join multiple pieces together for splitters? I don’t see 6’ sheets for sale. Aside from that, any tips on this job for a beginner?

Sorry for another “fixable” thread, but I hit some debris on the freeway and was hoping some experts can chime in to see if I can save this. It had ppf (paint protection film) and honestly I think that’s what saved it from thoroughly breaking. I don’t need the pattern uniform as I can just re-wrap it.
