How does life feel in Norway? Honest reviews about the social environment, making new friends, & dating an Indian?

Hi Everyone,
I'm from Kerala (in Southern India) and I've been thinking about moving to Norway. I'd love to get a better idea of the daily grind there before I decide if I want to take this leap.
Honestly; I do realize that Indians aren't always viewed positively when they move to other places, and sometimes that's because of their actions. That said, I don't want to judge me solely on my "culture."
In order to be able to get a better picture of what to expect I'd greatly appreciate your honest views/opinions/feelings regarding:
Perception of Indians by Norwegians.
Different treatment of Indians in their workplace & in daily interactions?
The social scene in Norway and how easy/difficult it is to meet/make friends -- both while attending school (or university) & after arriving in the country.
Ways to develop long-term friendships, rather than small-talk-type relationships?
Is there an openness among people in Norway to date someone from another culture? Particularly an Indian?
I've read that people who live in Northern Europe tend to be quieter/reserved, which is why I'm interested in learning how difficult/hard/easy it will be to connect with others & feel accepted/included.
No need for sugar-coating; just tell me what I should realistically expect.
