advice for class plan?
Hi! I'm considering coming to Georgetown for computer science with a premed concentration, which I'm very excited about. I think I would really like the school but with my class plan (I'd also want to minor in Chinese/just study Chinese) I would probably have to take an extra semester even with summer classes, which isn't exactly what I'm hoping for. I guess I'm just hoping to get some insight/advice from current Georgetown students, especially those who've done CS, premed, or Chinese. Is it feasible to do 5 classes per semester and not drown in work/still have time to have a good social life and party and stuff like that? Is it easy to get approved for credit overload, and is taking credit overload common? Is taking an extra semester worth it to come here, and would that affect employment/higher education in the future? Would it look bad to get a BA in CS instead of a BS? How easy is it to transfer credit from study abroad programs (all of the non-language classes are taught in English)?
