Driver loft - what are you playing and what’s your distance?

Currently in a GT2 10 degree but think it may be too much loft based on how I deliver the club (launches higher than ideal).

I tend to hit differently on the course than range (so fittings have been a challenge), but had been told 9-10 degrees was probably right last summer. Good shots can be up to about 218, solid ones go just over 205, but I’ll hit some that launch too high and will lose a bunch of distance (ballooning and going about 150 - but the strikes are solid). My coach believes 225 is totally doable (I’m 50 for context). I can hit a 3 wood off the deck to about 190.

What’s your current configuration? And do you have it at stock loft or have you tuned it up or down with a hosel setting? Been tinkering with shaft, swing weight and tee height, but really haven’t messed with loft at all and curious.

Always working on mechanics, of course, but love the club fitting / technical aspects…

This question is for the ladies, but if you’re a guy and want to chime in - just say you’re a guy when you respond!
