Refusing reimbursements

My job provider said that they would only pay for up-skilling costs if I had a job offer to go to. Which is near on impossible....

So i paid for things myself, then managed to secure a job, and claimed a reimbursement through them.

The job finished, I up-skilled again at my own cost, found myself a job, then went to claim a reimbursement and was denied. Apparently, my cost was back in May25, and because I secured a job in Feb26, there was a change in Programs and they will no longer reimburse me.

This doesn't seem fair, as a cost is a cost, its the same job provider, and now they get the credit of me finding a job without them actually doing anything.

Is it worth making a complaint about, or am I just screwed?
