I wanted to ask specifically to current students/alumni of the MSc User Experience Design program at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt.

I’ve been hearing from a lot of applicants that even if someone has a 210 ECTS (4-year) bachelor’s degree, they still usually need around 20 weeks / 5–6 months of relevant work experience after graduation to get admitted. Some people also said applicants without post-grad experience often get rejected even if they satisfy the other requirements.

Is this actually true? Or is work experience mainly required only for 180 ECTS applicants to compensate for missing credits?
