Designing and In Law Suite - Thoughts?

Designing and In Law Suite - Thoughts?

Hello! We're designing a 16'Wx40'L in law suite to go in our backyard. Here is our design concept, but I'd love to get some thoughts.

The entry is at the bottom of the mock up, leading directly into the kitchen area. The entire left wall of the front section is the kitchen, with the following layout: entry/coffee counters-> sink, dishwasher, and stove-> fridge -> pantry. Across from the sink and stove we plan to have a long console table that is a multi-use space: countertop for the kitchen, with stools underneath to double as a dining and workspace. The right wall will be the "living area", with the back of the couch pushed up against the console table/dining table/desk between the two areas, and facing an electric fireplace with floating shelves and small swivel chairs on either side. This space has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Inspiration oucs provided (ignore doors and windows in the inspiration pcis, layout pic is accurate).

Continuing through the space will lead to a small hallway that takes you to the bathroom/laundry and bedroom. The layout of the bathroom is: on the right hand wall is the stackable laundry nook, shower/tub, and a water heater closet (door for maintenance access). The left hand wall has a closet for linens and personal supplies, a vanity with plenty of counter space, and the toilet. The bathroom and hallway will have ceilings that are approximately 9ft, with a storage loft above. A ladder will be stored away, but will have hooks to attach to the wall beside the bathroom door when access to the storage loft is needed. The storage loft will not be visible by any area but the hallway, and will have a pony wall (with ladder entrance) to keep it from being an eyesore.

Walking into the bedroom: it is a priority to have a king size bed. On either side are two large closets, and we plan to use floating shelves or a bedframe with storage to replace nightstands. In front of the bed will be a dresser and mounted tv (by request), with a small chair in the corner. A full length mirror will be mounted somewhere in the room. This room will also have vaulted ceilings with exposed beams.

Would love to know your thoughts about functionality and comfort! Thanks!

Tiny Home Layout Advice

We're building a tiny house/mil suite behind our home and I wanted to get some advice on the flow and feng shui of the layout. The entrance is at the bottom of the image, and walks directly into the kitchen "alley", with the pantry and fridge behind the door, which we have been advised to move to the opposite end of the kitchen wall. Between the kitchen and living I want to put a large console table/desk to function as a space for eating, working, or extra cooking counterspace. Up against it will be the back of the sofa, facing the living room wall with a fireplace and built ins around it. The next section has the small hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom, and the bathroom with a stackable washer dryer inside (on side of tub nearest the door), and a water heater (on opposite side of tub next to exterior wall). The bedroom has two medium size closets, flanking the king size bed, and space for a dresser and a chair. The ceilings above the living room and bedroom will be vaulted while the bathroom ceiling will be roughly 9 feet. The second and third pics are inspiration for the kitchen and living set up.
