Reconstruction vs iraq
Is Syria's reconstruction going better than Iraq's after the downfall of saddam? It seems that way seeing as that America isn't dictating every little thing.

So i work in the food service industry with many undocumented Hispanic people. I was a missionary in South America for a year and sympathize with there plight. However one thing that frustrates me is the fact that they seem really unwilling to learn English.
Now before people go off, I understand English is a hard language to learn and that the us doesn't have an official language, but they often just expect everyone to learn Spanish to work with them. I have one coworker who whenever I can't translate because I have a headache and need to use English will tell me Spanish please. And one of my managers told a kid who didn't know Spanish that when your speaking with me or one of the kitchen staff to use Spanish.
Douse the catechism say anything about learning the language of your host country? And what is the best action to take for a country when situations like this occur?
What are some big predictions about your country that turned out completely wrong? Future population, economy, etc. In America one that surprised me was in 1903 i believe it was henrey gord lawyer told him that automobiles would be a passing fad.
OK, I've lost all respect for matt fradd, his next guest is Russell brand. He's totally sold out
How are mormons viewed in South Korea today? I know most people are non religious and Protestants and Catholics are the biggest Christian groups. Yes I know mormon aren't considered Christians.
How are they viewed in broader Korean society? Do they align more with political left or right? Did they align with the military dictatorship or against it?
Douse anyone else think that the DW hired matt fradd as a sort of psy op? Like they understood that they're Israel/Evangelical politics would alienate Catholics, so they hired a guy who is a popular apologist.
Might be a strange question, I'm a never mo who loves Japan and Japanese culture. I'm Catholic and have been to Japan and am interested in the religious landscape of Japan.
I've heard that Japanese mormons often have some sort of cultural problems being that many quirks of mormonism are very American. I was curious if this is true and if they're are any Japanese ex mos here what was your experience like growing up/being lds in Japan?
Is kenshokai, hope i spelled that correctly, a cult?
I'm using the term American Christianity to encompass Evangelicals, lds, and jw religions even though I know the last 2 are restorationist. Why is it that all of these traditions that do missions work abroad insist on spreading a very American version of the faith?
When I was in Japan, I loved how Japanese the churches were there. Architecture, saints, etc. From what I've studied EO, Anglicans, and Presbyterians also do a great job of enculturating to the countries they are in.
Religious movements founded in America tend to be so American, why is that?
How is the Catholic Church viewed in Vietnam today? I know the church and the government haven't had a great relationship especially after the war, but from what I understand it is better now. How do regular Vietnamese people view the Church and Catholics today?
Has anyone heard of Fr Ken Barker and the missionaries of God's love?
Is there a list of churches that Reconquista considers mainline? Like are SBC and church of nazarene mainline?
Will Donald Trump destroy the republican parties future? I'm 27m and don't think I can vote republican anymore and I assume they're are many more like me, not just Catholics.
What's the biggest reconquista win thus far?
