Waitlisted by Seattle U 165 LSAT and 3.3 GPA in Comp Sci

I know I am no super star but I am genuinely disappointed they waitlisted me.

I have 8 YOE I am a Software Manager in a big tech company in Seattle.

Is this yield protection or do I just suck lol

Fordham Banner dissappeared

Did they have a Banner? Yes, right?

It is gone and I wonder if I am about to get the sweet release of an R.

Pending for 9 weeks

Seattle U Application Status changed today (after being UR for almost two months)

Status did not change, but date was updated to today.

I did email them today to inquire about my status because I have to decide if I am taking an internal transfer at work out of state or not.

Many experience with this and Seattle U? Decision coming soon or nah?

New to this concept, can I go to law school part time and not worry about high income anymore?

I used the calculator and it says I am ready to coast, but I want to make sure I am not leaving anything out.

Here is my situation:

Current Software Engineer (30 M)
Current income: $400k
I want to go to law school (part time) to go into public interest (very little money in it)

Current assets:

401(k) $340k
Brokerage $200k sp500
Rental home: $200k equity owe about $200k still
Primary home: $200k equity, owe about $550k, $4k monthly payment all in

I have four kids and their 529s are all fully funded

No HSA (employer doesn’t offer it)

If I went to law school it would be part time and for free, so I would contribute about $280k more to 401(k) because of the mega backdoor and Law School being 4 years part time.

Would you do this?

I am wanting to find something that helps people rather than just building more stuff for big tech.

Seattle U for IP at Big Law in Seattle area?

Obviously UW would be stronger. I want to attend part time though. I am a Software Manager at Big Tech and do not want to quit my gig to go part time.

Any success stories on Seattle U to BL or in house in Seattle?

Has anyone heard from Santa Clara Flex after March 20th?

Last wave of decisions they sent was March 20th according to LSD.

Looks like they sent some decisions for the regular program today.

I am an ideal fit for their tech edge and above both their medians but I went UR late (March 15th)

Any movement from anyone?
