I’ve been on lexapro for almost 10 weeks now! It has helped me so so much with my overall social anxiety. I was really struggling to even function in my grad program earlier this year because the anxiety was so bad I’d have panic attacks before every meeting, class, etc. I also developed imposter syndrome so strong I was ready to drop out, but Lexapro stabled out my mood only a couple weeks into taking it and I have noticed a significant improvement in my social anxiety and negative thought patterns that come with things like imposter syndrome and perfectionism. I feel a lot more joy and gratitude being in my program now rather than all of the negative feelings and anxiety clouding my experience before.

I will say that after about the first two weeks of taking it onward I had a period (about 6ish weeks probably) of feeling pretty lazy and unproductive but that has started to improve as I am finding new ways to stay motivated that aren’t driven by anxiety :-)
