Patchland - upcoming cozy tile-placer. Now with animals!

Patchland is a relaxing strategy game where you create your own world by building it from scratch using tiles. Connect various biomes, earn points, complete quests, and add animals to the map to create increasingly larger and more beautiful landscapes.

In Patchland you start with an empty space and a small supply of tiles. You slowly expand your landscape by adding more elements. It is a game without rush and without great challenges, perfect to sit down, relax, and occupy your mind with pleasant tile placement.

I'm building a relaxing tile-placement game and need feedback on features

Hi, I'm working on a relaxing tile-placement game where you build a world from scratch. The game is called Patchland.

During the game, you earn new tiles by completing quests, and the main goal is to keep expanding your world for as long as possible.

Right now I'm thinking about what feature to work on next, but I'm not sure which one would improve the gameplay the most:

- allowing players to choose where quests appear (currently they spawn randomly on the map)

- adding the ability to stack tiles on top of each other

- adding special locations that provide nearby bonuses within a limited range

Which of these sounds the most interesting to you?

I am creating cozy tile-placing game, where you build world from scratch using tiles.

To get tiles for building, players have to complete quests, which are adding to different places on the map. E.g. add x tiles to specific biome or place x tile in specific spot on the map.

My question is: Is it better to add quests on the map, or is it better to let players choose where quests should start? What option is more interesting/satisfying?
