Sock bleaching
Son asked me to bleach his soccer socks, by which he just means whiten. Is bleaching the only option? And won’t that whiten the black Nike swoosh and writing? Thanks for any advice!

Canada Secretary of State, Sport responds to question about Whitecaps relocation
The secretary took some questions at “FIFA Social Impacts” conference I was at today in Vancouver. Had my Caps jersey on :). I’ve uploaded the video of his reply. His first sentence is missing in the vid but it’s basically just thanks for the question. I asked kind of a generic question about what is the federal government doing to keep professional supports teams in Canada given that there’s so much financial and tax incentive in the states (thanks everyone in this subreddit for helping draft this question in real time). I recorded his answer and it’s attached to a video here. Secretary was touting the big $750 million sports investment announced yesterday by Carney government. He added directly in response to a question asked after mine that none of that $ is for professsional sports. Not a surprise. Minister of Sport speaking at our conference this afternoon. Bring up Whitecaps in Q & A?
[edited: I asked a question, his response below in YT video] Federal Minister of Sports, Adam van Koeverden, is speaking this afternoon in Vancouver at our conference. I am at an academic-community conference on “Social Impacts of FIFA World Cup” (wearing my Whitecaps jersey - #savethecaps!) . Should I ask a question about the caps relocation? If so what? Or am I just wasting my time? Can’t hurt though to put it in his radar. I don’t even know if he will take questions. Anyway write one here if you like I’ll try to ask it.
