Need to know the logistics of Japanese swordsmithing

I am thinking up a backstory for an odachi of legendary status, made of a fictional metal that is impossible to break, melt, or even sharpen.

Assuming it has similar properties to Japanese steel, with the inability to be reheated, how long would this steel need to stay soft in order to make the katana in one night by a true master of the craft and no less than a dozen high level apprentices to assist?

[WP] when it came, some thought it was god itself. Some believed it was merely an angel, a devil, perhaps even cthulu. It sent an obelisk in an unknown tongue, many agreeing that it was a warning, maybe even a threat. But after deciphering, we realized... It was a scientist

[WP] Holy steel can kill demons, and is created by the inclusion of an angel's feathers. Infernal steel can kill angels, and is forged with the powder of a demons horn. but Nephilim steel has the power of both and beyond, and can only be forged by the feather of the first fallen angel; the warden

DISCLAIMER; I AM VERY VERY NEW TO OWNING A RECORD PLAYER

I am new to the hobby, and this is my first personal record player. My brother found this 2015 Crosley cruiser for 10 bucks. The cord was missing, and the speed was all messed up, so the price was understandable. I thought I was going to have to replace the speed switch before hitting it with a little WD-40 dry lube. After a few clicks it was like it was never broken.

Now that it was working and powered after buying a new charger, I went ahead and played it for a few hours, and I noticed then that there was an issue with consistency of speed. I didn't know for sure until I started playing Beetlejuice the musical, so I ordered a new belt off Amazon along with some diamond needles. The needles haven't shut up yet, but the belt already makes a wall of difference.

So that's my vinyl journey so far, I just wanted to know what people thought of this as a first time set up
