Hi everyone,
I’m the founder of Allowances API, a small SaaS that provides U.S. government per diem and allowance data through an API, including GSA CONUS, DTMO OCONUS, and Department of State DSSR rates.
I’m exploring a Deltek Costpoint integration that would help teams maintain per diem schedules with less manual file handling. The first version would likely focus on generating Costpoint-compatible import/preprocessor files rather than trying to replace any existing Costpoint workflow.
The idea is to help with things like:
- Pulling current and historical government per diem/allowance rates
- Reducing manual downloads and recurring schedule maintenance
- Supporting GSA, DTMO, and DSSR data in one place
- Making the update process more repeatable and audit-friendly
I’m looking for a few Costpoint users, admins, consultants, or implementation partners who would be willing to beta test this or give feedback on the workflow.
A few questions:
- Do you currently maintain per diem schedules in Costpoint?
- Are you using the Per Diem Preprocessor, Import Console, manual entry, or something else?
- Would a tool that generates Costpoint-ready import/preprocessor files be useful?
- What would make this integration actually valuable in your day-to-day workflow?
I’m not trying to spam the group, genuinely looking to understand whether this solves a real pain point before building too much around the wrong assumptions.
If you’re open to testing or giving feedback, feel free to comment or DM me.
Thanks!
