Hi 👋 Im 24, I bought my little sister a 13” space black M5 iPad Pro w Magic Keyboard and Pencil pro because she was begging me for “a cheap IPad” for the past months. Little did she know she would get an M5. Only reason I bought her one was because I was considering getting one for myself. (And because I love her.) (Both not nano-texture because it’s used only indoors.)

M5 SPACE BLACK collects fingerprints more, but the screen is nice and the black border gives it that seamless/ bordlerless look when you’re looking at the screen or watching something, especially in low lighting. Little sister didn’t care and knew in advance thanks to this subreddit’s reviews, she loved the color. So she got it. 😁

M5 SILVER. Space black just can’t compare to silver I’m sorry. Silver just looks better in person 🤷‍♂️cameras won’t give it justice. You gotta see it to believe it. Doesn’t collect fingerprints like the Space Black, although it does have that annoying silver border that’s NOT VISIBLE ON THE APPLE WEBSITE. If you have a case or if you watch anything on it in low lighting, it’s not distracting. But in good lighting it is a bit distracting although it gives it that clean transition.

WHY I BOUGHT TWO M5 13” IPAD PROS:

-I got a 2020 MacBook Pro M1 WITH A TOUCH BAR already, and only had an iPhone 15 pro max and no computer so I liked the M5 for the future proof, if the M6 comes out I can always trade-in or resell but I don’t see a point in doing that anytime soon.

-little sister (15) is going through online schooling, again no computer in the house only an old one that’s running windows 8 or 9 I forget, AND it’s in the parents master bedroom so yeah no thanks. so this M5 is a nice addition to her Chromebook/laptop the school program “Visions”provides.

Overall, little sister is happy, so I’m happy.

(PS. IN MY OPINION——>IT MIGHT BE BETTER TO GET SPACE BLACK IPAD AND A WHITE MAGIC KEYBOARD or VICE VERSA SO YOU GET BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!)

(also Sisters IPad has a camera protector on which is why it might look different compared to mine.
