I have a 2yo who will be at least 3 when I go for surgery. My surgeon said there is ‘technically’ a 10lb limit to what I can lift post-op but that she ‘would never tell a mom not to pick up her child’...that said, would it be a good idea to plan for a week of having someone else around to help out with the little one? What’s the hardest part of having this surgery with a toddler at home—post op pain, fatigue from the liquid diet, something else?
