Going for that long exposed wave retreat look. Is this salvageable ?

Going for that long exposed wave retreat look. Is this salvageable ?

I was shooting in plain daylight and didn't have the nd filter. 1/30s was the lowest I could go, did a burst shot and tried smart object mean stacking layers. But I get these gaps? visible between the shots and it's not as smooth as required. I tried brushing with moiré over it but it doesn't do anything 😅

Tamron 150-500mm vs Sony 70-350mm ?

I've used the Tamron for like 2 years and recently got the Sony. I'm pleasantly surprised by the keeper rate for the Sony. It's much more precise with the autofocus and somehow performs better at high iso ?

Or maybe I'm looking at this wrong and it's an unfair comparison. Shooting at 500mm vs 350mm is more difficult to handle autofocus, microblurs. The bigger lens adds fatigue over long hikes. (I usually use my hiking stick as a monopod). So maybe the Sony it's just more fit for hiking...and big animals like Ibex goats (though it depends, the longer reach definitely helps sometimes)

So what do you think ? Anyone else had the chance to compare the two ? I'm going to test it more to finally settle between the 2. This was only a short walk from the car, with light rain conditions, the ibex usually comes down the mountain especially to eat the new grass/branches.

Going to the Fanal Forest was a lesson of photographing in humid/rainy conditions and I was unprepared. My gear got wet, I didn't have enough dry cloths to wipe my lens and basically all my shots got hazy, doubled and lacked sharpness.

This photo seems like a happy accident. What do you think ?
