A friend found this, I am wondering what it was used for? Any help or advice is welcome and appreciated.

It sort of looked out of this world to me at the time. Sorry I didn't get something out for scale.

Mostly manganese and a cool rock. 365nm light

They came as a set, I don't know if the rectangular bowls with lids were included. 365nm light
