Seems to be a bone… found in a culvert in northern IL

Found this in a drainage culvert in my front yard. Appears to have been cleanly cut. Has strange, perfect cut grooves too.

Mammal Phalanx? Bear?

Found in the high-alpine deserts of Southern Colorado. I can't for the life of me figure out what mammal this might belong to. I was thinking maybe an intermediate or proximal phalanx of a bear, but I can't be sure.

does anyone know what kind of skull this is?

we found it out in the woods near our house- it looks like a dog skull to me, if so, is there any way to know what kind of breed it is?

Is this a bone?

Me and my friends found it and we're unsure if it's bone or some kind of plant matter.

In Colorado if that helps at all

Hollow on the inside

BONE of sorts, from Big Bear Lake, CA

Hi!

My friend found this… thing about few feet from the water at Big Bear Lake. All she can tell me is that it was close to the lake and the size of an average palm (a hand *without* fingers was clarified, haha).

Any thoughts?

I don’t know much, but it gave me more amphibian/reptile/ fish vibes than mammal…. But it’s pretty big!

What do you think?

Found in the woods in the Middle East, in an area where there’s active goat and sheep herding…

But I can’t even understand what it is. A pelvis, a jaw? It’s 8.5cm (or 3.3 inches)

Any help is appreciated:)

Squirrel or ???

Hello! My 11-year old son found this jawbone under a tree here in Weeki Wachee, Florida. We are thinking/hoping it is a squirrel, but the area — we live on the river — sure does (also) have a lot of rats. He is anxiously awaiting your expertise. Thanks in advance!

Deer Tooth?

Found this lone tooth in the woods in western Montana. Looks very human to me but I’m being told it’s a deer tooth. Not sure, but would love to know. Thank you :)

Help identify please

I live in the middle east and found these in an abandoned house in this field next to my house about two years ago . they all seem to be from the same animal as i found them all in the same little pile, unfortunately no skull only a jaw bone with some teeth (some of them a few feet away and had to dig around a bit to find them all) they are very small, I’ve placed an Australian 2$ coin and a measuring tape for reference.

i would also like to know how i can clean them as they are very dusty and grey but some of them are very dry and brittle and i am afraid to damage them .

(yes my sheets will be changed after this lol)

Found in my pasture

I’ve been watching this decompose for a few weeks. It looks like the skin somehow pealed off? It has some stripes like a raccoon tail but looks bigger than a raccoon. I was collecting eggs at the coop so added one to show size.

Cervical vertebrae of large mammal

I found this on a coastal Alaskan island. There are many brown bears but I think it might be a bit small to belong to one of those. It was found during lowest tide of the cycle close to the water line and there are also seal lions and seals in the area.
