I'm taking an MSC cruise ship for my dad's 80th birthday in July to the Bahamas (start/end: Port Canaveral, Florida).

kratom is still legal in Florida + I won't be taking it off the ship

would drug-sniffing dogs:

> detect kratom?

> flag as narcotic?

should I pack it in my luggage:

> in its original packaging?

> disguise it (protein/supplement tub, etc.)

alternative options:

> kratom extract tablets, etc.

> bupenorphine (Subutex/Suboxone) pills. *{*sneaking 1-2 pills would be a lot less of a hassle and it would eliminate the inconvenience of having to shovel down mouthfuls of kratom powder down every few hours. I'd have to look into getting them past the dogs though}
