Zircon sand buyers remorse…
This is probably going to sound ridiculous, but I visited several different Mazda dealerships to compare colors side by side over a few weeks and determine my favorite - I was considering polymetal and ingot blue, but zircon sand caught my eye and I confirmed multiple times that I definitely want zircon sand. I ended up finding an excellent deal on a used TPP with terracotta interior and bought it. The car looks perfect in every way. I saw the car in person and test drove before buying.
My only issue is that I’m now mentally having regrets after trying out the car for 24 hours - but only due to the color - everything else is perfect. The color just doesn’t feel natural to me. I normally drive a blue sedan and it’s just so different - I think I’d be more comfortable in ingot blue or polymetal since it feels closer to what I’m used to.
I’m in CA and the dealership said I have 3 days to return the car no questions asked. Did anyone else feel weird about zircon at first? Am I just overreacting? I felt so confident in this decision and I can’t believe I’m feeling this way over the color. :(
