Please help me pick next book for my book club

So to preface, the book club is myself and my sister and we at both very busy moms getting back into reading after years after not reading for pleasure because of schooling.

So we are looking for:

Shorter books 300ish pages maybe?

Short chapters

Easy to read

No hard covers (sisters preference)

We have read so far: Ask For Andrea, The Housemaid, A Flicker in the Dark

I personally preferred ask for Andrea and the housemaid. I am looking for slightly more mature/better quality writing, less cliche, while still keeping it an easy read/page turner. I’m also not the biggest fan of an unreliable narrator but open to it if the book is really good.

I wanted to read Best offer Wins but it was vetoed due to hard cover only.

Here were some suggestions from chat GPT, please tell me what you think we should pick or recommend a different one!

Thank you 😊
