I have a ring flash adapter, it works with external flash and it's amazing.

But I find it cumbersome at times.

It's top heavy, nothing's connected between the adapter and the lens, so it moves around when I move (not a lot to be fair).

I wonder if there are any similar adapters/designs that allows for pop-up flash? Or even point and shoot?

I've seen hot shoe mounted flash diffusers, and I know JJC makes an adapter specifically for Olympus Tough cameras.

Maybe it's possible to have something that sits on the hot shoe, with one end covering the flash, and directs the light around the lens?
