This was a Christmas gift from my grandfather to my grandmother (engraved on the back) in 1969. They were engaged a few months later (her second marriage).
The watch is a bit beat up and worn, but still winds up and works! She fits but I prefer not to wear her. Probably should one of these days…

This was a gift to my grandmother from my grandfather in 1969 (reverse is engraved). Pretty bad condition in my opinion but it still winds and works! This was a Christmas gift before they got engaged (my grandmothers second marriage). I don’t wear it although it fits, I just keep it in its box.

Is it really worth it to spend an extra 3k for the Tank with diamonds? I want something lowkey to remind me of my success but I also realize 1. Price increases are coming and 2. I could also get a ring and/or earrings with that extra amount.
Thoughts? The regular Tank is classic enough (maybe?)
