Power outlet for Sonos arc?

My parent’s Sonos playbar crapped out and I need to replace it with an arc. It’s wall mounted. Whoever installed it ran the power cord through a hole in the wall which obviously isn’t to code. They already have a recessed power outlet behind the tv so I don’t really need one of those power kits from Sanus or similar, especially since it will require more holes at the tv and the floor. Is there any way to just buy the soundbar portion of the power kit as a stand alone piece? I know how to do my own electrical work and connect to the outlet that’s already at the tv. I just can’t seem to find any sort of slim power box for a soundbar. How do pros install these? The only solution I’m coming up with is to buy a kit and cut the romex on it. Is there a better way?

Painless CME?

I’m a DO but I’m ABIM certified. Florida DO board requires ABOIM cme credits that aren’t recognized by ABIM. Because of this I have to basically do double the CME. I’m up for 10 year recert in 1.5 years and need 40 more hours of ABIM credits.

Anyone have an easy and painless way to get some CMEs that require minimal effort? I know up to date I can get it for free but I use open evidence now so I would have to look up 80 topics and then fill out the eval to claim all of them. Going to a conference isn’t an option currently. Looking for something online that’s easy to get the hours with minimal effort. Work is paying.

First Pen Suggestion

I’m a physician and have a new job that I spend a lot of time at home working at my desk. My wife asked what I wanted for Father’s Day and I have been wanting a nicer pen. I want something that’s going to live on my desk but not really ready to take the leap into fountains yet. It’s mostly for the occasional paper work and for marking items off my lists each day while I’m charting. What should I be looking at/considering when I pick my first pen. I’m in my early 40s and wear a large glove. Thanks in advance

Edit:

I should have mentioned. I have a few EDC pens already. I have a tactile turn bolt that I love and it lives in my white coat and is carried around the hospital. I’ve replaced it twice in the last 8 years when it gets misplaced. I want a Mont Blanc for my desk since it’s something that won’t leave my home office and I won’t lose. I currently have a Tactile turn full sized that sits on my desk and had a montblanc rollerball refill in it. I liked it. I’ve also used the fineliner refill and like that too. I just want something fancier and the MB refills dry out when used in a retractable like my TT. Looking for recs on what Montblanc to buy as my first MB

I spend on average about 8k a month on my Venture X card between me and my wife and it’s my only card. We now have 2 kids under 3 and have done very little traveling. I’m able to take advantage of the 300 credit but points are racking up to the point where I’m wondering if this card is the best for me. I got about 6 grand in points that have accumulated since becoming a dad. The bulk of the spend is on merchandise dining and groceries. We hope to start traveling in a few years. Is there a better card we should be using?

I’ve had a Chase checking account since residency that I’ve kept mostly out of laziness since changing all of my automatic payments is a pain. I just recently ran out of checks and went to the bank to get more and was treated pretty poorly making me wonder why I bother with them.

The bulk of my savings/emergency fund is in my money market but I keep a 20 grand “slush” fund in my Chase savings account that’s earning nothing. I’m W2 so I get a biweekly direct deposits plus bonuses.

I’m looking to swap banks for checking/savings. I need Zelle but otherwise don’t really have any requirements and no need for a physical bank.

What are you guys using/recommend? My quick research is pointing to Sofi as my best bet.
