Does the Professional Women's Hockey League think we're idiots? [Patrick Lapraude]
I know the title is a little over the top, but I thought there were a couple really good points in his article.
- The decision was made to cancel the game and reporters were finding out at least 90 minutes before the announcement. That also was at least 15 minutes before the reserve players for Montreal that would have been filling in for the sick players were informed.
- He estimates a couple hundred thousand dollars that this is going to cost the league
- The last point I thought was interesting which is something that has made me question what they were thinking is the fact that it was about 5 hours later when they decided to move the game to today instead of later. What changed in that time?
