Returning my S24 Plus — what should I do?

Hello guys. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus a month and a half ago and when it arrived it turned out to be the USA model instead of the European one. I'm going to return it since the listing clearly advertised the EU version, and I am also having problems with my camera (getting random errors).

The thing is, now I need to decide what to buy next. I'm considering the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE for €550 here in Spain, but I'm not sure if it's worth it or if I'm missing a better option. The base S25 goes for €689 here which feels crazy for what you get. And I know there are better options but I'm not buying off marketplace websites anymore. I don't trust them, and also, almost every phone in those webs is the USA model.

My budget is €600 max, I want to stay with Samsung, and my main uses are WhatsApp, some TikTok and photography. I don't do any heavy gaming too. What would you do?

S24+ (US Model, SM-S926U) in Europe - Having problems updating my phone. Stuck on Nov '25 Security Patch, OneUI 8.5 Not Available.

Hi everyone. I'm in a bit of a predicament. I have a US Samsung Galaxy S24+ (SM-S926U) but I'm living in Spain.

My current situation:
- Latest security patch: November 2025
- Currently on OneUI 8.5
- OneUI 8.5 has been released, but my device says "Software is up to date"

I suspect this is because Samsung locks updates by region/carrier, and the US Snapdragon version isn't getting pushed to European carriers.

I've already tried:
- Changing region to US (New York) in Settings - still says up to date
- Checking multiple times throughout the day.

Has anyone dealt with this? I've heard SmartSwitch might help, but would love to know if there are other solutions. Any advice appreciated!
