I am this close to applying to hospitality positions

Hello there.

I graduated from university 5 months ago and haven't found a job yet. I hold a bachelor's and a master's in STEM (bio-related stuff). Not sure if this makes me unrecruitable in hospitality though.

I'm sick of job searching, creating accounts, filling forms, and in the end receiving 2-4 emails a day with "unfortunately" on the third paragraph.

I live near the capital which is full of hotels. Maybe I'll just go around asking for a job over there since we're nearing June. And yes, I'm not US-based.

My biggest limitations are allergies to dust and pollen, as well as sensitive ears (e.g. dishes cackling hurts my ears) and eyes (cannot be in the sun without sunglasses).

Should I try it? I just want a job while unable to find anything in my desired fields. Yes I have read r/TalesFromTheFrontDesk, but I don't know what else to do. No one wants to give me experience because I have no experience.

Hello there.

So I've been looking for my first job throughout Europe (I'm European), and the only application that didn't come back with "unfortunately" until now is a QC technician role in Dublin.

Even at the possibility of jumping the gun here, I would like to be prepared. So what should I know before going?

They mention CAPA, RCA, OOS, and OOT - I was never taught any this during university, so I have no clue what it all means in practice. I have 0 experience and no idea how to behave in an industrial lab.

I have also been looking for wages. It seems to start at 40k minimum for someone with no experience, even considering Dublin cost of living. I realize I will have to share housing if I ever do get the job at this wage.

Then there is the interview - I have never interviewed for a pharma role before. I'm so scared of getting an interview and fumbling it.

What should I be prepared for?

Hello everyone.

I sent my CV to two indian scam companies and only realized afterwards. Just to be sure - can LinkedIn do anything about my sent applications? Or is it too late once they are sent?

Cannot wait to get scam calls day in and day out. Maybe even have my accounts or my identity taken. Job searching is incredibly fun.

To start off, I have always been into videogames. Now that I have a master's in behavioral neuroscience, I am highly interested in applying it to videogames to understand decision making, but I have absolutely no clue how to do so.

What companies should I check into? What research institutions? Any specific subreddit?

Also, I should mention that I'm European. Working for the US only if remote.
